Oh no! I liked them. Last time I was in there they'd got rid of their alcohol license so the writing was on the wall. But yeah they were dying hidden in that corner with the construction going on.

I didn't go there often (I prefer Burger Theory), but I figure Grill'd stole a lot of their business (given they're very similar style of burgers). They seemed to do ok at lunch time with the Uni student crowd, but probably wasn't enough.

On a side note, what's with businesses who have multiple stores, never mentioning closing one on social media? They just act like it never existed. There's been zip about it on any of FB's social media pages, and it was the same earlier this year with Red Door Bakery when the Grenfell St store closed. Surely it's better to give customers a heads up and control the story, rather than let people rock up hoping to get lunch and seeing a notice in the window and the place abandoned.

Bella Casa (in the former Gritti Palace) on Gawler Pl is closing down after a 3-year short-term lease. However, its online store will continue to trade as usual.

Swarovski moved to their new location yesterday. Just waiting on OPSM to move but there is no indication this will happen soon. Seems a given this redevelopment won't be finished by Christmas which is disappointing to have such a massive space empty at the busiest time of year.

Bank SA on Rundle Mall is moving closer to King William St (11 Rundle Mall) after being in operation for countless years I'd say.

This was confirmed a while ago... I suspect that the existing building will be demolished or gutted. People will recall the pet store below has also relocated.

Wait, there was a Cotton On Kids in Regent Arcade? Had no idea, we always go to the kids section of the main store.

Pretty sure this closed as a "kid's" after the main Cotton On opened containing it's own kid's department. The old store was operated as a outlet store afterwards, until it closed finally some time ago.

I'm surprised that store even lasted that long.

When did they replace one of the Renaissance Tower lifts? It looks terrible, doesn’t match the building at all (that said, neither does the aluminum cladding on the lower levels).

There's been a blue tarp up there for months. So that's what they were doing.

Telstra has signed a lease for the BankSA site at 49 Rundle Mall. This will be their flagship and I assume lead to the closure of the citi centre store.
