Six months of nothing. Any news to the fate of this? Has it even been seen by council?

I might change it to "Vision" in the projects list.

That is probably a good idea, as it has not been submitted to council, let alone presented to the ACC DAP.

It's still listed on the developer's website, not that that necessarily means a lot!?

Yet another one of those building projects that have mysteriously dissapeared off the radar... all these proposals are good and all, but more importantly, there needs to be action in recognising them and bringing them to construction fruition! Oh well.

This happens everywhere mate. Take a look at the other capitals. Extenuating circumstances arise. I too get discouraged with this type of thing but am excited by the amount that do get to U/C stage - just look back at the nieties for a relative comparison in Adelaide. Time is indicating a trend thats tell of confidence in Adelaide and the commensurate business responses. This is my observation over tthe time I have been associated with this site,.(since Oct 2006)

ADELAIDE - TOWARDS A GREATER CITY SKYLINE

Excellent news! I wonder if we shall see some updated designs - the original reminds me quite a lot of Roma Mitchell House, which is inoffensive from a 1990 point of view, but not necessarily the optimal solution for 2008. I note a likely blank west face in anticipation of future developments on the accompanying site, which I hope is soon to follow.

Maybe in 3 days time they'll relodge with a 15 lvl building?

Any extra height is for the better. Adelaide needs it.

I hope this building does not have an exposed concrete western façade. We can't have the western skyline covered in blank exposed concrete façades!

Renders of this one are on the developers website if anyone wants to check them out. Looks very similar to the CityCentral building to be honest. Also a redesigned version of 115 KWS is on the site, looks like its been scaled back to about 60m.
If somebody wants to post them feel free - pascotpropertydevelopers.com.au.

Very nice.

The balconies and setbacks will help break up the western facade.

I like everything except for the golden "pods" sticking out along the left side (according to that render). Why do they feel compelled to do this? Seems kind of tacky, almost gimmicky and not really necessary... but I guess beauty's in the eye of the beholder (see: divided opinion over the Commonwealth Law Courts). Still, overall good (and big) enough for me to give the thumbs-up.

^^ I'd prefer the pods over another flat glass facade.
