SA/SSC member Adelarch found this render of the proposed Currie St project on the Loucas Zahos website (developers behind the latest Flinders St proposal)

20-22 Currie Street is only a few doors down

The only information we have at this stage is that it will include 15,000sqm of office space.

Its unclear if this is a outdated render, however if this design gets built it will be one of the hottest developments ever built in Adelaide!

would be pretty sensational to see this and 20-22 currie st get built soon (fingers crossed both go ahead)

it's still kind of a box, but has some interesting features which make it look more unique

Thanks. I don't think this has been submitted to council yet. Should we class it a 'vision'?

It might be submitted, but hasn't appeared on the next DAC agenda. I know of at least two other major buildings that haven't made it onto there yet.

Great looking building. Cant quite count the floors but looks about 18 levels, so prob in the 70 - 80m range. Good height, as there arent any major scrapers on that north side of Currie St. Will look brilliant alongside the wave.

This is awesome. I actually love the podium, the yellow sticks are very reminiscent of 1JSQ in Sydney (I think thats the one), and then theres the whole podbox look in a very futuristic way, not lame like Ernst&Young. Definetly sexy, and definetly should be built.

Jeez, Adelaide's getting itself a nice bundle of buildings hey?

Pretty sure Knight Frank has this building already listed under new/proposed developments in their September office market report.

Really like the lower section but wish a design with real merit like this were 100-110m instead of 70-80-ish. Give it another 20-30 metres and make it a landmark building on the skyline.

I think this building is more likely to be around the 14-15 storeys not 18. Height-wise, probably around the 50 metre mark (like Aurora on Pirie).

Cheers

BTW it has been a while :)
