Some lunch time pictures from today 25 Feb 16. level 7 is now complete. can now be seen from further south in Morphett St (down by Bohem).

On a side note, in the second photo EBG posted you can see that the Bob Jane site on the corner is up for sale, hopefully whoever buys it can make good use of such a prime location.

I hope the final product resembles the renders, if it does it should be a quality building.

This one is super fat. It will be a real beast of a building and super prominent, so hopefully it ends up looking really good. It's already quite visible from the centre of Victoria Square. Wish I took a photo from there.





EBG already took one from about here, but his (assuming you're a guy) photo is quite zoomed in, so I believe this one gives a slightly better perspective of its impact at street level.

On the bottom few levels they have built to the boundary with tilt slab, but then maybe that's just a podium and it steps back in? I'm hoping that they make use of the northerly views, at least until built out by another building.

Nothing recent but you seem to be right about a podium style thing (which is more or less the car park). Floor plans also show plenty of balconies and windows facing north so I'll assume what look like windows here actually are.

Damn... that video makes me wish it was taller, but then I realised that the width easily makes up for the lack of height.

I will soon start taking (and posting) photos of this building from my local foothills vantage point.

Wow! I was skeptical about this build but I will now lay down my sword, that video makes quite an impression. The red cladding in the renders is so much more subtle compared to the glass.

Level 8 is complete, but is set back a bit from the lower floors facing Grote St. Work is now progressing on level 9.
This project is starting to have quite an impact on the corner of Morphett St and Grote St.

Loving the impact this one is starting to have from Mellor St. Distracts nicely from the eyesore of the half demolished building on the old balfours site.
