THE RAA will return to its old stomping ground on the corner of Hindmarsh Square and Grenfell Street in the new Conservatory on Hindmarsh development.
The company has announced it will lease the entire ground floor retail tenancy of the $70 million green building, which has been under development since 2004.
RAA chief executive Ian Stone said the move was an exciting phase for the company which had long been associated with Hindmarsh Square.
''The iconic corner is associated with great sentimental value for the Association, so it
seemed only natural to return to this location,'' he said.
CB Richard Ellis leasing agent Julia Pottenger said: ``It is great to have a high profile, high quality tenant such as the RAA take the whole ground floor retail tenancy as it is commensurate with - and complements - the overall quality of the building.''
The 19-level building comprises ground floor retail space, four floors of above-ground parking and five of high-quality office space, with 53 apartments on the top nine levels.
The South Australian Department of Trade and Economic Development will lease all the office space of the building

Hi there
Conservatory has been selected as a finalist in the national BPN Sustainability Awards to be held at the end of this month in Sydney.
See attached summary of the finalists in this category - tough competition with some very significant buildings - so quite an achievement to get this far.
Thanks to all involved. Will let you know if we get a trophy!
Kind Regards
James.
