It was my understanding that, once the new bit was built, they were going to take the opportunity from half of everything moving into the new space to return the interior of the existing building to its original? heritage? format, as part of a general upgrade and update.

Seems like a quiet day on site.

Being a casino, you'd imagine the quality and finish would be top notch..but..

Early days yet. I have never seen such excitement about 1 panel of glass being installed.

Far be it for forum members to be anything other than perpetually miserable, right?

To clear up previous conversation, 2 floors will be dedicated to gaming, both to VIP guests and regular guests. This will include table games etc and not just machines.

Given the layout of the building, are the gaming areas going to have views of the Riverbank? If so that's something very different to usual casino design that does its best to make people forget the outside world exists.
