It is common for some developers to retain a percentage as equity for their next project so I would so that's possible.

Wasn't there some post some time ago that they had enough sales but priced to low, so they couldn't get bank financing. If they really go ahead then maybe they found someone to give them money

Datong now have a corporately looking sign next to the front door of the adjacent red brick building so it looks like they have leased some space.
Not sure if they are relocating from the Flinders Street/Pulteney Street building as well as this being for a new site office for the U2 development.

I walked past earlier this evening and there was an excavator on site doing some earthworks at the back of the
property. There's now also Built Environs signage on the fencing at the front.

The Built Environs website has officially announced that they will be building this development. They have announced that they hope to start preliminary building works next month, with an anticipated completion of 2019.
