He's been pretty slack. He turned one sod and hasn't done a spot of work since. Should sack him.

I wonder whether the delay is related to the collapse of Tagara?

Tagara built Datong's first development in the Aria Apartments, and its possible they had the contract to build this one?

I think i wrote the same thing a few pages back - which could explain why we are seeing a delay. But with what's happened with New Mayfield, i am very unsure.

This site is starting to look derelict.

One of the better looking buildings in sales phase..........

Just on that seeing as it's completely died on it's ass after reports of 80%+ sales, Id say Tagara had won the tender.

Without being naive to legal proceedings if that is the case much like Mayfield, why hasn't another builder been appointed already?

Surely someone is making of $$$$ off the deposits, even if it were only interest. Frustrating and I'm not even invested in it

yes very poor. The interest earnt on deposits goes back to the purchasers so the developer is losing money the longer they wait as they have forked out a number of costs already.

Does anyone know of anyone who has an apartment in this building, or alternatively has there been any recent updates from U2? If I were to have a stake in this I would be pissed to say the least.

This and Palladium have both been very poorly handled. Disappointing.

May see some action soon. They've just applied to build stage 3 superstructure.

Where is Stage 3 meant to go and what was stage 1 and 2 out of curiosity?

You're confused Dvious. DAs usually get lodged in various stages.

There would have been a stage one for demolition works. Stage 2 for site clearing / substructure and basement works and then stage three for the superstructure which is the actual tower itself.

Totally read that wrong sorry - cheers for the clarification Shuz!

I do hope this one goes ahead soon - all the new buildings up in this area are all around the 60m mark, so will be good to see some variation with it and Bohem.

Positive signs. This has been pretty poorly handled despite being the strong sales figures, I wonder what the hold up has been? Hopefully its not a false dawn.

When I spoke to the agent about a month he said the project would start in May and also said sales were
about 80%. I wasn't sure whether to believe it or not, but it does look like we will see this going ahead
in the second half of this year.

With the extra business confidence which has followed from the submarine announcement, things are starting
to look more positive. Who knows, we might even be able to avert the valley of death.

All the signage has been removed from the fence. Not sure what this means...

I drove past about 30 mins ago and it all looks pretty much the same to me.
