Popped into Jekyll & Hyde as they were doing free coffees today. The fit out is... interesting.

Meanwhile, The expanded Hey Jupiter has re-opened as a brasserie, and East End Cellars' expansion looks to be a whisker away from completion.

Daniel's - the most mediocre restaurant on Rundle Street that has somehow stayed open for years despite their reputation - has closed with a notice that they are going to refurb and reopen as a Vietnamese Restaurant.

Seems Vietnamese is the new Thai in Adelaide. This will be the third Vietnamese restaurant to open in Rundle Street in recent times (not that there's anything wrong with that, I'd like a banh mi and a viet coffee pls).
Exit on the right in the direction of travel.

West end institution Supermild has closed its doors for seemingly the last time, with liquidators being appointed to the business last week.

Was in Adelaide for a few days - went to 2KW - VERY nice. Views are exceptional - back along NT and down KWS towards Nth Adelaide. I would not have known it was Adelaide except for the railway stn, parliament house and the playhouse. Impressed with 2KW as well.

Did you eat there?
We went last time we were back - took friends from Perth, and they were super impressed (as were we).

Great food and venue and the service was terrific.

Disappointing to hear this as it was always a friendly place. The location they've been in over the last 12-18 months is probably more suitable
for an upmarket bar though. I can't help but think that the management also let themselves down in some ways. They could have at least cleaned the
front windows once in a while lol.

Colour me sad. The old Supermild on Hindley st was one of Adelaide's better bars. Great music, eclectic crowd... sigh.

As widely assumed, it is indeed Sushi Train moving into the former Red Door Bakery space on Grenfell St. Signage is up and fit out underway.
