This one should end up being a neat looking apartment tower going by the renders...... it also seems to come up on my FB feed a lot Good to see it underway so quickly, by Adelaide standards anyway.

If you've clicked through to their advertising material, it picks up on it and 'follows you" (don't know the technical term). You can select "See less ads like this" and they will stop.

targeted advertising, if you have the Facebook app installed on your phone and speak about it out loud within earshot of your microphone it will start targeting you with ads

Hahaha, voice recognition...... not sure we should get quite that paranoid yet, although sometimes I wonder I did think it's more likely targeting me because of my clicking on/liking/ and or commenting on things regularly on the Sen Adel page

It's time to get paranoid.

I brought my partner to Adelaide for about one month a while back. First time she ever left Europe. She was only in Adelaide for a short time and never bothered getting a simcard. Just connected to the wifi wherever it was available and never activated roaming. She also never bothered changing the location settings because I had the time on me and she wanted to keep her timezone in the phone so she didn't have to do the arithmetic when messaging her mum at home. We were walking down North Terrace and her phone got bombed with ads for the shopping centre in David Jones and also the failed development at the old Gallery food court.

She's been back home in Brno for 6 months and the phone is still borked. The main page always forecasts this beautiful weather for us every day. Nothing can be done to explain to this bloody phone that we're 25,000km away from Charles Sturt. And she gets all this targeted marketing for Adelaide apartments. Every time she gets the phone out I hear some variation of "oh get f..". (rough translation)

Little bit odd with BE having already done work on the site?

From the rear, the back 2/3 of the site has been filled in, compacted and levelled as at 24 mar 2018. I could not see what is happening at the front .

The front part, facing Pirie Street, steps down to street level and has had the same treatment.
