This core is a beast. It's huge.

Kyren have revised the design. It's now going to be one big elevator and lobbies on each level to that one elevator
[COM] Re: Adelaidean | 11 Frome Street | 135m | 37 Levels | Mixed Use | New tallest
A lot of people have said this. So I went and had a look myself and was blown away just how much of the plot the core takes up.

What is the size of the apartments like? Are they narrow or fairly generous?

I'm a lurker here, and very rarely post on S-A (kinda shy, and everyone here seems so smart! So please go easy on me!). Grew up in Adelaide, moved to the US in 2011, but have managed to visit home a few times (most recent visit was in February).
It is so exciting to see so many tall buildings being approved and built, after what felt like frustrating stagnation and setbacks in previous years (20-22 Currie St anyone?). I can't wait to see Adelaide's new skyline in a couple years time, once the Adelaidean, Realm, Sofitel and 269 North Tce have been built. I thought I'd never see a new tallest in Adelaide, and though these new towers may not be THAT tall by world standards, they will dramatically alter Adelaide's skyline and I'm sure will have a positive effect on how Adelaideans see themselves and their city.
I can't wait to see how the skyline will look from the typical vantage points around the metro area. I have a soft spot for Adelaide's skyline. What it lacks in height, it makes up for in density, and these new 'tallies' will be great enhancements. I live in Los Angeles now, and I really don't care much for the skyline of downtown LA. It's windswept, with empty, dark, canyon-like streets that are totally void of people outside of office workers' lunch hours, Give me Adelaide any day, with its bustling and pedestrian-friendly city centre.
Anyways, I'm not sure if I've made much sense, and I apologise to you all if I've taken this thread off-topic. I just wanted to share with you my excitement at seeing these projects going up.

I'm totally the same mate, however live in Sydney atm...but will be moving home end of 2018 after 7 years here. I suspect there's a few people that can't really contribute that much to this forum however just enjoy seeing Adelaide growing up from afar.jordan85 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 26, 2018 6:53 amI'm a lurker here, and very rarely post on S-A (kinda shy, and everyone here seems so smart! Pretty funny that in the time I was there I was a bit "Alpha apartments 9 storeys? woooow!" and now the NKOTB are more "ermagerd I don't like the windows on that 135m new tallest"

Now working on level 2 as at 30/8/2001. Can't see much of the car park building from Frome St now.
