I mean the white could unify the ramshackle of unattractive 80s buildings, but I walked past again later today and saw the outlines of a purple (the school colour) ribbon stretching across the fencing. So a mural it appears set to become. The lot I've seen working on it were early-to-mid 20s kids who fit the description of either backpackers or an artist collective.
Yes appear to be an artistic collective. They are painting images of children in the purple colour but they are similar in realism to the war memorial etchings down Kintore Avenue. The individual images look like they might be OK (unfinished when I walked past) but not sure they've created a narrative that follows the ribbon on its journey.

That looks atrocious, like as if they left it to the kids in reception to design the building.

Given it’s Forme, we can already guess what it’ll look like. But still much better than a tyre shop.

Yes you’re right. Sorry. Wow they will have developed almost that entire square. Hopefully the design is somewhat different.

It's Hurtle Square, theres five squares in the CBD, not very hard to learn them Victoria, Light, Hindmarsh, Whitmore and Hurtle squares https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurtle_Square - Halifax is a street.

not at the S E corner of Halifax St and Pulteney St :

which just lawn ,trees and gardens in the middle of the square.

Not sure that's right - its the Beaurepaires site, which is on Pulteney Street, southwestern corner of Hurtle Square
