Ripper shots Pants.

This building has shattered my expectations. One thing I was never prepeared for, as it was never in the renders, is how the street frontages across the road become a whole new element in the facade of this building. The 2 layered glass and lettering sufficiently break up the reflection that it isn't a straight projection of the other side of the street, rather the colours are scattered into an artsy fartsy pattern. Amazing. It's like everything that touches the building is photoshopped into magic.

Any future design in Adelaide that doesn't meet this new standard is officially shit!

City Central is absolutely pissing along now, with the third floor plate (above ground) poured today, and form work in place for the 4th floor.

No problem mate. Glad you like the updates. I go past most city construction sites every day so it's no real big effort to take the pics.

So level 10 exposed with 11 in the box!

That pic I took will pretty much be filled with CC1 height wise once she's done.

I wonder then, since the eastern core finishes at level 11, if they are going to pour, wait for the conc to go off and then remove the formwork and box? That is unless my plans have been supersceded!

Worst pic I have ever taken. Dead set. But she's at the halfway mark now, so I thought I'd celebrate with a f'ed up photo.

Go the Swans!

Also the final height of this jobbie should be taller than the highest part of the southern crane boom shown above.

Well now I'm friggn' confused. With yesterdays core rise, the number 11 has appeared, but I counted today 10 floors exposed above ground?? Unless the lobby has a subfloor which is counted as 1 and 2?? I dunno, at least they are now numbering the core!

I'm not sure what's going on with the core, but what's got me even more fucked is that you posted during the grand final!
