^ I just go by what BH tell me, as in the ground level is just that, then the first above ground level is level 1 and so forth. So we are now 4 levels off the ground level, with 5 in the box.

Cool?

Saw on the webcam that the western core got poured to day, not sure about the taller eastern one. So expect a rise either tomorrow or friday, me thinks!

Also by looking at the cam, the reinforcing sheets are down on level 1 floor plate, so expect the first above ground floor pour very soon.

Have to say that the Advertiser building hasn't turned out as good as I had hoped.

On the face of it, you'd imagine that you'd get something better if you gave Fender Katsalidis $60 million to play with and a brief to design an "iconic" modern building.

^ Yeah, 'tis a bit uninspiring, but, I keep my comments until all the facade is finished. Could be pretty spectacular still. But as you said, NFK could've done something a little more cutting edge. But I guess when you are restricted to a 5 level, large floorplate brief....
If the floorplates were half size and there were 10 levels on the other hand!
BTW me thinks NFK designed the new Santos Building - what I heard, but could be bull.

N's gone mate. It's just Fender Katsalidis these days. Does anybody know why?

Wouldn't be surprised if either Bob Nation or FK designed the new Santos Building. The more I look at it (as dodgy as the render is), the more incredible a building I think it is.

Walked past today and noticed that they've started moving again on the front facade. Happened to have my camera with me...
