Excuse me, but is there a thread running for CC3?

Why aren't images ever large enough to be able to read all the little descriptions?

You'll all hate me for this....

...but I had to pay $3.50 for sparkling water in the foyer of CC1 today! Dear me. It did give me the chance to have a bit of a look around, though, and the whole site is absolutely bursting with potential. The developers have done a good job of the little retail area of CC1, and once Electra House is finished (what with all its restaurants and bars and such), there'll be a bit of life injected into that corner of town.

As is becoming customary for this development, the latest stage; the redevelopment of Electra House is having its obligatory dumbing down. Plans were lodged with the ACC, to delete the micro-brewery which was originally planned.

Another disappointing move for the City Central development. Caversham promised so much and have delivered so little.

I hate that they use the term "towers" in this development....underwhelming to say the least :(

I'm hoping the overall project will have a better impact on the aesthetics - possibly will offset some of the disappointment in heights to this point.

'Dumbing down' is like offensive language when I see the term used due to all the implications.Brings sick feeling of disappointment in the gut.

In the city messenger this week it had an article on the GPO hotel building to be built. Basically it said that due to the amount of hotels being listed for Adelaide, this idea has been shelved indefinitely. They said that they might revisit the hotel concept or just opt for this building to become fully residential.

Either way, I can't see anything happening on this building for at least 5 years.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but I cannot find a better term to express my disappointment at how every stage of this development has not turned out how it was originally intended.
