I discussed the change in tower/building numbers a while ago. There was a slight adjustment around mid-2007. Here are the towers/buildings again:

3 - Electra House
4 - Post Office distribution and office building
5 - GPO adaptive reuse project
6 - Telegraph building adaptive reuse project
7 - Hotel Tower
8 - 32,000 square metre office tower

This is all subject to change depending on demand. A discussion I had via work suggested Tower 8 will be a similar size and height to Tower 1. Who knows though, they might decide to go all out for that office building depending on pre-commitment interest.

On a side note re: Colliers Report. I always find their reports fairly outdated with some poor quality information standards. They often incorrectly identify square metre numbers for office buildings and they seem to do a heap of copy and pasting which creates conflicting figures thoughout their reports. Some figures are up to date and then others reflect old numbers but for the same building they mentioned a few sentences previously. Use caution when quoting their numbers imo.

There is a large article on City Central and developments in Adelaide in "The Adelaide Annual 08" on sale now.

I've avoided putting the nitty-gritty of this project into my list/map, because everything's sketchy and contniously changing. There's a lot of threads running about this project as well, so it's a bit hard to keep up with what news is lated. There's this thread also active at the moment. There's also a few renders floating around, but none of them seem to be current, and even what tower they're of seems to be disputed.

But I'm starting to run out of 'easy' things to do, so, best to get on with it. Would anyone care to correct/ammend where appropriate?

This is what I've gathered from the two threads:
CC3 - Electra - Approved
Addition to existing heritage, 131-137 King William Street

CC4 - Aust Post sorting. Not sure on the status of this project or its address.
12000sq, approved 7 or 8 floors. Is this a redevelopment of an exsiting structure or a totally new tower?

CC5 - GPO. Again, not sure on the status of this project.
Redevlopment of exsiting GPO. High end retail and hospitality.

CC6 -Darling building. Not sure on the status or address
Conversion into apartments

CC7 - Not sure on the status or address
11 level hotel and apartments.

CC8 (8?) - Cnr franklin and bentham, status?
32,000sqm, unknown height office tower.

I'm not confident enough with any of the above to add it to the list as of yet. What has been submitted to the ACC?

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks heaps for that Will. I've now added all of those projects to the list/map. Some I listed only as a Vision, as they don't seem to be anything set in stone yet.

Does Keith Murdoch House get a "CC" number?

I've used these renders as "initial concepts"

Isn't Keith Murdoch House separate from the City Central redevelopment?

Yes. Its construction allowed the City Central development to occur but it is not part of the City Central development itself.

On the positive side - great when so much is happening we can't keep up.

I too have wondered extensively about this as I have been mapping the very same things as you aid. This part was a mess and what has been said is the best yet on it all!.Changed the map somewhatI did'nt contact anyone for fear of looking like an idiot in the process. Most appreciated aid and will.

Seeing you guys have developed the map here i will make mine a large wall display in our staffroom.
