I'm far from your usual cardigan wearing Adelaide NIMBY, but 18 storeys right next to a very busy airport that trains student pilots? What could possibly go wrong eh? :hilarious: :hilarious:
Big infrastructure investments are usually under-valued and & over-criticized while in the planning stage. It's much easier to envision the here and now costs and inconveniences, and far more difficult to imagine fully the eventual benefits.

Going by what has previously been said and the preprepared roads, Parafield Airport will not be around that much longer.

What makes you think it has 50 years to go?
Nothing I have seen has given anything remotely close to that.
Given the previous statements about the land being sold for residential, roads inlets that are already formed, and now 18 floor building proposals; I give Parafield Airport no more than 10 years before closed.

Just because they are cashing in on the surrounding free space, I don't see any indications that Australia's 5th busiest airport is closing. Where would all that air traffic go?
Exit on the right in the direction of travel.

I can't see Parafield airport closing.

It is the second busiest airport in Australia in regards to air traffic and one of the best training facilities with a great reputation

I can one day in the future.

Years back, there was talk of Parafield being replaced by a new airfield facility near Murray Bridge, with possible domestic airline connection.

Looks rather boring and generic to be honest.
