The majority of masts on the Seaford line are concrete. The same concrete masts were also installed in 2012 between Salisbury and Evanston. Steel masts were only used where required on the Seaford line. All new masts installed at Oaklands were steel.

Looking like we might at least get a widened Islington station platform (citybound).

But yes, some of the masts between Dudley Park and Ovingham are pretty thick. They all appear to be steel.

I'm curious how the Park Terrace bridge is being tackled.

lines mounted directly to the underside of the bridge
wouldn't surprise me if the mounts were installed with the bridge

That's what I'd expect, but I recall a post here saying that the bridge was too low for electrics to pass under.

Mechanical issues found with the diesel 3000 stock.

From AdMet website. I’ve only included the general announcement, there’s specifics for the Grange line on the website.

Right on cue, a service to Belair had been cancelled. I assume this is the reason.

I wonder if this relates back to the engine fire that happened a few months ago. Hopefully it's not too serious as all engines were replaced just a year or so ago.

I noticed in winter last year that the thermostat in the cars with new engines, is seriously broken. One end had a heater pumping out lava temperatures, while the other blew out icy air con. Then the temperatures would swap.

I'd hate to be in Stephen's shoes , the Darlington wall incident, faulty trains. Its going to be a easy fight at the next State Election for SA Labor Party
