Wonder how much the compulsory acquisition cost would be?

It looks like only four vineyards under that yellow line (assuming nothing else needs widening etc and no extra interchanges). Does anyone know whose they are and how "special" they are?

There wouldn't be a devastatingly huge amount of property acquisition

I do agree with the idea of connecting those roads. It would clean up the area around Seaford Bunnings.

Duplicating that road between Seaford Meadows and Aldinga is top priority.

I'm sure the Onkaparinga Valley could do without the bridge.

Between Piggot Range Rd and Sheoak Rd is the Onkaparinga River National Park with the Onkaparinga Gorge.

It looks like it would be a fairly impressive bridge given the width and depth of the gorge there. Any suggestions on which bridge technology and estimate of cost? I'm assuming the environmental requirements would be that it has to be a single span?

So? what does that have to do with property acquisition?

The river already has two bridges (MSR, Coast to Vines) and the rail viaduct over the wetlands. What’s one more bridge?

I thought the idea of National Parks was to protect land from development, but obviously I must be mistaken.

The traffic volumes would not justify having such a freeway for decades to come. They haven't even duplicated Victor Harbor Road yet!

Yeh.
Main South Road duplicated for its entirety to Aldinga, and Victor Harbor Road full duplication to Victor. Remove as many intersections/junctions as practical or necessary with overpasses/ramps like done at McLaren Vale.
And general improvement/widening/overpasess etc on rural highways like the Copper Coast highway.. We want our regions to grow, they need proper & improve infrastructure.

Would rather invest in rail to meet these transport demands.
