I remember reading about Aldi applying to build in the precinct. Anyone know where the actual location will be?
Also anyone know if and who they have selected as a hotel operator?

Not sure about Aldi, Harbour Town would be the obvious choice but I can't see two supermarkets making a decent trade there, perhaps somewhere further down from Masters?

As for the hotel, not that anything has been confirmed, but I seem to recall that Ibis were being considered.

They got rid of the main passenger ones but they operate 10 747s in their cargo airline.

Is there some app that alerts you when a plane is diverting to a airport?

It was a Singapore Cargo B747-400 Freighter. Routed Auckland-Melbourne-Adelaide-Kuala Lumpur. They are in Adelaide almost every fortnight

It was a diversion. EK406 from Dubai-Melbourne. Melbourne had some poor weather and it did not have enough fuel to hold.

here are a couple of photos of it in Adelaide yesterday

Any reason for the increase in frequency? It seems odd to add 3 extra flights for only 2 months.

Probably for the summer holidays in the northern hemisphere. We get the same extra flights for our summer holidays over December and January as well.
