Surfboard could be right, they are incorporating a pond into the plan.

They represent a waste of money and mixed up priorities.

Look like concrete sails to me. Ferro-concrete yachts were popular a few years ago.

It's better than what Canberra has put up to commemorate its latest (one lane) highway.

public art and beautification of our city is a very important thing.

why do we have architects and designers to make our buildings look more visually appealing? why not have a standard design accross the entire city?? sure, it costs more, but overall it adds to the aesthetics of the surrounding area.

damn this stupid adelaide thinking. if this were melbourne or another progressive city we'd be demanding better, rather we're demanding less or nothing at all.

'Dam this stupid Adelaide thinking?'

Personally I don't like it, looks very similar to the public art on the Glen Osmond intersection (which I'm also not a fan of)

Nah looks alright. That sort of stuff makes the area more interesting, and people talk about it. Like we are now. you assocaite that crappy Concrete Sail with that Bridge and that region. As we do with the Concrete Pine Tree's on Glen Osmond and the non working Water feature.

Or the Aboriginal Huts on Sir Donald Bradman. I like them personally, other think they are a waste of money.
