Excellent photos again Adam. You've got talent! I think the traffic might be related to that 'ice and snow' thing they had going down at the Port Adelaide lighthouse. I was down there on Saturday night and it was pretty busy then too. Port Adelaide is coming along nicely.

Talent? Nah.
Re: Traffic. That's what I thought at first, but the stand-still went all the way down Commercial Rd in both directions. I never saw what was at the end. Perhaps it was footy crowds making their way home?

From this evening, sneaking them in while there was still light!

Massive crane on a barge:
Very British looking level crossing running diagonally though the new intersection of The Grand Trunkway and Eastern Parade. It has what could be best described as a "digital" chime:

Thanks mate for that.
Going way of the topic here, but I hope the State Government uses modern and different street lights/poles than the typical lights/poles for this and other road projects.
Me thinks its time for a change .

Went to expressway as well yesterday
Looking east along the rail bridge
Rail approach from the east before reaching the bridge
Monster crane. Apparantly one of, if not the biggest in Australia at the moment. They got it in from Germany at a cost of $100,000/day. Wouldnt want to get behind schedule with that baby sitting around!
Cheers
