Let's wait until we see a textural render first, al I've seen so mar is massing renders.

I quite like it, and the fact there's a rooftop restaurant is great.

THAT looks brilliant. I love the fact the roof isn't flat, and seeing as it's a part of a function space, one would assume it would feature lighting. Could be a new beacon on the skyline.

Thanks for sharing!

This render makes it looks 10m taller than Westpac

It is set closer to the shot than Westpac, but yeah, there's been some license used height wise.

Wow, that render looks much nicer than the previous one. And I'm digging that sky lobby. Someone should Photoshop the Sofitel Hotel building into the background of that scene. Currie St is going to look very different in a few years time!

It does at first, but it's just a really extreme perspective.

Hard to spot in the render, but there's a slight tapering of the corner on the lower portion of the tower. Will be interesting to see if it helps the tower relate a little better to its neighbour on currie street.

The colour variation of the upper middle portion is promising, as the diversity reduces the chances of the builder screwing up the whole thing with the wrong glass ala Q1 (and I reckon Adelaidean likely will).

Overall I'm a fan.

I'm a fan aswell, I do however have concerns regarding the northern exterior.

Time for something in the 150-200 metre bracket.

Big fan of this one.
Love how it looks like it doesn't belong in Adelaide!

Can't wait to see it go up.

Oh wow, something with a curve, even if it's just one corner it will be a welcome change to the boxy Adelaide skyline. Height is also decent, should block out Westpac a bit. :applause:

But.. this has me a little worried it may never get up.

I love how straight forward and detailed the application is. It literally tells you everything. From noise levels to material quality. If it goes ahead, it even tells you they will be using a hammerhead crane and that at its peak, it will rise around 8m above the topped out building itself.

Did Adelaidean and Realm, go into as much detail as this proposal?

If only they had put the Sofitel tower in the background as well....then we would have a "new city skyline!"

I know I have been quite negative of late especially regarding our skyline but throw a 200m building known the mix, and if this, North Terrace Student accom, Featical Plaza, Sofitel, Realm and Adelaidian were to all happen, our skyline would be totally transformed.

Too bad Echleon in its current form is most likely dead.
