Not sure if this requires its own thread but its quite a large development. 5 Levels 18m, with a footbridge and appears to be a high standard design.

Going before the DAC this Thursday.

I assume PAC are paying entirely for a footbridge (while St Peters wasn't prepared to contribute to one over Hackney Rd.)

I love that they're incorporating bluestone into the façade - it's such an iconic material of Adelaide architecture that I wish more modern buildings found ways to represent.

Is the footbridge over the Parade West? Is that the route that EastLink is proposed to take? Hopefully the clearances are designed with that in mind.

PAC new Boarding House at Kent Town
Accommodation for over 150 students, to be completed by end 2018.

This looks like a substantive development - it's own thread is good. The architecture seems fine and nice that they have linked it back to the history of the main sandstone buildings. Kent town is changing quickly for the better

Update 20 July 2018 it is a long time since this site has been visited and there has been a lot of progress. I have to load pictures one at a time. This building is T shaped. View from east. The building on the far right is the Ex weather bureau which some tried to save by getting it heritage listed but this got turned down last week.

The new building on the north side of The Parade is to be Joined to the school by an over head bridge. Picture shows the stairs and lift for the bridge on the school side.
