They just keep on coming. I think this site currently has a very old carpark. Architects are Hassel same as Synagogue Place.

Wasn't this part of the Flinders Link project?

I think it could have been the one that didn't get off the ground but has been resurected which would be great as there is a massive gap where it should have gone, however I think this proposal is significantly taller than the original if it is the same location.

Where exactly is this site?
I'm in Flinders Link facing Wyatt Street (above the carpark).
There are a fair few delapidated buildings across the road (some with what look like asbestos rooves) which I assume is where this is?

This is an image of the never-built Dakota on Wyatt building. The land where this building was going to go, now houses the IAG carpark. In the image you can see a small 2 level building to the right of the Dakota on Wyatt building. This small insignificant building is on 57-59 Wyatt Street.

An analysis of the documents on the ACC website for public consultation reveal:
That this is the succesor to the Dakota on Wyatt project, as it is being developed by Hindmarsh, the same company that developed Flinders Link. Additionally, the building will cover much of the IAG building's ugly carpark façade fronting Wyatt Street.
The building has an irregular 'L'-shaped footprint, with a maximum depth of 25.2m and a frontage of 33.2m to Wyatt Street.
Entry into this building's carpark will be via the IAG Building's carpark.
The building is of a nice height, reaching 63.7m to top of structure. This is because, technically the building is 17 levels (counting the ground floor as level 1, and the plant floor as level 17.)

Fat out, that's a looker, and that height will make it the tallest building in the precinct if I recall correctly.
This place is going crazy at the moment.

I agree, I had a quick look on Emporis, and no other city in Australia has been so hectic in the last few weeks!
This is my attempt at fixing the image:

Love it!
Let's hope it gets built in that form and gives the uninspiring flinders link development a massive kick in the arse.
