Well, after a faaaaaaarking sloooooooow construction process, things are starting to get interesting now, the south tower is structurally complete and waiting for the exterior treatment. The taller north tower still has some levels to go until it tops out. Should be interesting to see the final product.
Here's a recent pic from Chris. Hope you don't mind mate?

Hmmm, I count the supports for 8 levels on the North tower, wasn't it meant to be 7? Or am I confused?

Pikey, there's only 6 levels of "supports" above the concrete roof of the old car park.

Yep, I was wrong. However, you can see the Rio rod sticking out of the tallest steel section, so there's still more height to go, by the looks of it.

It's called Eastwest Apartments mate. I think it's mainly being used by the University of SA as student accomodation.

I was walking to the car park last night along pirie st and was quite surprised to see the southern side of 223 nth tce. It's actually starting to make an impact and looked pretty big. Should look nice once completed.

its shows great height for the area, but how come noones complaing of overshadoewing onto the nearby Nth terrace tourist hotpsots (library, art gallery) seems unusual considering how many nimbys there are in adelaide.

This is the Southern Hemisphere, the sun is in the north, therefore the shadows are to the south.
Think about it before you post.
