Oh? Do you know the name, by chance? I've always liked the idea of rooftop bars, but I've never had the opportunity to visit one. Might be worth a look.jk1237 wrote:hey peoples, i dont know if im behind the times or not, but a Melbourne style open roof-top bar has opened down Synagogue Place off Rundle St. Its above the Market Bazaar building. Havent been up there myself, but Ive heard its great from a good friend. I rode past tonight and it looks great from below, but it wasnt open on Mon. Im hoping there are some great views of the city skyline from the top. Enter via the market bazaar. Anyone had a look? Pistol, its just around the corner from u

Re: Beer Garden
I dont know what the name is actually. I spotted what looks like a portable dunny in one of the corners, and it looked like they puts some little trees in planter boxes to hide the sides of the dunny
Re: Beer Garden
Oh, classy! Like being at the Garden, and treading through puddles of god knows what to try to get to one of the portaloos.jk1237 wrote:I dont know what the name is actually. Re: Beer Garden
well im guessing like the Melb ones, these older buildings dont have the greatest of plumbing on the rooftop, so we must thank Kenny's portaloos. Nonetheless Matty, its looks interesting, so check it out, when your out on the town. I may have to get some photos It may have to be put on the pub crawl map. Got no idea how big it is up there
Re: Beer Garden
I was going to say - this sort of thing sounds like a fine addition to the SenAd pubcrawl. If I do happen to stumble past this weekend, though, I doubt I'll remember ever being there, let alone what the damn thing looks like.jk1237 wrote:well im guessing like the Melb ones, these older buildings dont have the greatest of plumbing on the rooftop, so we must thank Kenny's portaloos. Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Who uses that rubbish? Get http://pidgin.im/Omicron wrote:MSN (or Windows LiveMolestor or whatever it's called these days) is a twat.
There, I said it.
Pidgin is a graphical modular messaging client based on libpurple which is capable of connecting to AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, XMPP, ICQ, IRC, SILC, SIP/SIMPLE, Novell GroupWise, Lotus Sametime, Bonjour, Zephyr, Gadu-Gadu, and QQ all at once. It is written using GTK+.
If any of that means anything to you then yay.
Also why am I awake at 3:38am? *goes to bed*
Exit on the right in the direction of travel.

Hey guys, I fly of to Darwin tomorrow night for a well needed 2 week break . I have never been to Darwin before, so is there anything I must see or do while I'm up there?
Btw this will be first time I have ever flown, so that could be interesting . Though I've been on the Ghan to Alice Springs, V/Line and the Overland before.
