From BH it will be a couple of months yet before any major action happens on site

The manager / licence owner of the Griff told me that they are exapanding their dining and conference facilities next door into the old hi-fi shop. There will be access from the griff's existing dining area and a big expansion of their dining / conference / business meeting capacity. The griff does a great lunch and is always full on Friday etc so should be a good investment.

Should also be a great venue in an exciting part of town.

Looks like Baulderstone Hornibrook have been contracted to build this.

Got a letter from BH today dated 28th February saying that construction will commence from April (think they are already behind schedule) onwards for a period of 20 months. They are going to use Little Twin Street for deliveries. Also a gantry will be erected over the length of the site on York Street (much to my dismay).

GREAT bring on countless sleepless mornings of jack hammering and construction noise yay!!!

Went to the Gold Coast for a holiday, was staying in the hotel right next to that massive building they are building up there. 4 massive machines with jackhammers. from 6am-5pm. everyday.

One of the worst for sure but the worst i doubt it i reckon the exhibition building on north terrace would have to be one of the worst losses
