Yesterday I had an automatic email informing me that someone had posted another article on the SA to power the world thread. But when I clicked the link to see what had been written, I found that the reverse had happened: not only were there no new posts, but someone had deleted my previous one. How, and why, has this happened?
This is the second time one of my posts has vanished. The first (in the Housing Trust thread, was posted around the time the site switched server, so while I was annoyed (because it had taken a long time to write) I didn't think it worthy of comment, as if it's server switch related it's not going to happen again. But now I'm starting to wonder if it was something more than a technical problem. Was it?
Disappearing posts
Re: Disappearing posts
Something similar happened to me yesterday actually. I received an email notifying me that someone had replied to the thread Howie set up a while ago about Trilogy Tower in Brisbane, though when I went to it, the last post was from June sometime. Very odd.

Re: Disappearing posts
Well that explains half the mystery - but I definitely had replied to what is currently the last post in the SA to power the world thread.Howie wrote:It was a spammer... so i deleted him and all his posts. Sorry about that.
Re: Disappearing posts
I'm not entirely sure if that's the case,
so you got no error message, saw your post had been posted, and sometime yesterday it disappeared?
