Best way to monitor S-A website

Postby Wayno » Fri Dec 04, 2009 7:12 am

hi guys, how do you guys monitor the S-A website?

Up until recently i simply used the "View Active Topics" button to find unread posts and keep on my screen the list of most active threads across the last month. Seems this no longer works? Clicking on "View Active Topics" produces no results - is it broken? or has functionality changed?

We've recently upgraded the forum, so the cache might be broken. I'll try to rebuild when it's a little quieter on the site.

Having said that I usually bookmark View New Posts
search.php?search_id=newposts

I dislike aggregators, I just start at the bottom and work my way up the list clicking on the "first unread post" buttons until I'm done.

Yes that's right - I read everything you guys post.

I do, too. I fear this has pushed a whole lot out of the other side of my brain.

Hi howie, do you have an ETA on when the "View Active Topics" functionality will be restored? it's been dead for a couple of weeks now...

'view new posts' is ok, but it only shows the 'new' posts for a day or so. With 'view active topics', not only do you see unread posts, but you can choose how far back in time (7 days, 14 days, etc) you want to see threads with activity.
