Well, it technically doesn't fit the proposal status. There isn't one yet because that's what is still being determined. Most projects don't start with an architect designing something that appeals to the eye, they start with the client trying to figure out what their project is.

The car park has been up on the government tenders website for a few weeks now.

yea, no it won't be. Why pay to park your car there, then pay to catch the tram in to town then walk to your office? That even sounds like too much like hard work just typing it out. Also, parking at the Ent Centre isn't full market rates is it? For all day I mean?

Nope, it's only $2 a day I think.

That would actually give it another reason for the expansion to go ahead. The council would never allow permanent carparking in the Bonython Park, and rightly so.

There has already been a big fuss over temporary carparking in the less attractive south parklands.

Looks like a bit of a play on words, promoting live entertainment.

I'm reading that phonetically as Liv Life Live, which marks sense sort of.

Five-storey car park begins construction at Adelaide Entertainment Centre

CONSTRUCTION of a new five-storey car park at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre is scheduled to start within the next month.

The Development Assessment Commission on Thursday approved the development, which would add another 600 parks at the centre.

It will bring the number of parks at the centre, which are used for Park `n' Ride tram commuters during the week, to more than 1300.

AEC chief executive Anthony Kirchner said the development would cost about $11 million to build.

The cost of parking would increase from the current $2 to $4 to help pay for the new car park, which would be set back about 20m from Port Rd.

The car park would take up the triangular piece of land between the Entertainment Centre, Adam St and Manton St in Hindmarsh.

I know it's a carpark, but this will have some great views of the city skyline.

An angle that rarely gets seen...

Once it's complete, I'll head there and take some pics, including the view toward the city!
Not even once does my mother give me a SINGLE penny, a dime, a shilling or otherwise, a dollar to take the trash out!
