Second Convention Centre crane will go up this weekend.

There is another crane to go up hopefully this coming weekend. We were trying to get 2 cranes up over the weekend just gone but bad weather yesterday prevented the second crane going up. So in answer to your question - 2 cranes.

That's great it's going up so soon. so 13 this weekend!!! i think Uni SA will be up early March, unfortunatly by that stage one of CC8 may be down.

Confirming the second ACC hammerhead won't be up untill mid March - early April.

I can't believe the amount of confusion for the cranes on this single site.

It was unlucky they had a freak winter type storm (in Feb FFS) to put the boom up on Sunday and couldn't finish it.

The second crane mid March makes more sense as there isn't even a second base on site yet is there?

2nd Convention centre crane going up this weekend and UNI SA in April.

In April we will probably lose a couple though: UNO Apartments and 1 or even 2 of CC8. After those 3 are down we shouldn't lose any until end of the year I would think.

I saw a crane in Pirie Street last Saturday Afternoon (17th March) ....
I am pretty sure it was the crane from Uno Apartment which had come down.

I spoke to one of the Altus traffic control guys and this was for the Telstra building. He beleived they were putting new stuff on the roof, so possibly the plant room.
