But yes, I would hope that the City South stop, as well as the entire King William Street south is redevloped akin to its Northern side.
Yes but it is extremely annoying waiting at those traffic lights in the tram when your work is just there and you want to get out.

As if you're that lazy, that you couldnt be bothered getting off at South Terrace and walk the 50m? Or do you really want the goverment to fork out a couple million dollars just to move the stop 50m north, for your convienience so that the walk to Optus is only now 10m?

I'd say a tram stop infront of 400KWS would be a corker, seeing as the worker population is about to explode around there.

I totally agree . This would foster even more usage - canopies would greatly improve open weather stops.
Renders give a real apprecviation of what is to come. Closely inspected that area when I was In Adelaide in Jan. Imagination got carried away - one point being the tram stops.

KWS Sth will really start to show some life. (as per city style)

The render reminds me somewhat of CH2 (Melbourne City Council) with the louvres.

Excellent renders. It is great to see a proposal that's not the ubiquitous glass box.

I was really puzzled when the Brecknock hotel sold last year. Within a month it had changed hands again for a much higher price and I could not work out why the hotel was re-sold. It's only a hotel and why would anyone rebid at a higher price for the privilagfe of running an Irish pub?

Now it makes sense, it was bought by the same people who developing the various buildings at that end of town and they want the land to develop the existing hotel into the "Brecknock tower". Good luck with that idea! The Brecknock is a pretty historic hotel and there will be a lot of heritage etc opposition to seeing it turned into a block of offices or apartments,
