As of today, its exactly like the latest picture, although all the way round has been completed

It's almost as if they want it to be a failure. Are they deliberately trying to make Adelaide a laughing stock.

That is absolutely horrendous. It is this sort of piss weak attempt at copying other cities icons that ruins Adelaide. We would be better off without this.

I don't think it's that bad given it's location (BEachhouse ie young childrens entertainment complex). Childrens rides ect are tacky as it's aimed at young kids not sophisticated adults. if this was on the banks of the torrens ect then i would understand everyones criticism.

I still belive that even if it was visually appealling to tourists then kids would still ride it.

Im sure the kids would still hop on the london eye?

That picture does n't reveal much it's hard to judge, i'm sure it can't be that bad. Maybe our expectations of it were a bit too high.

It doesn't look that bad. It's better then nothing...

Imagine a ferris wheel on the torrens (someone said that before)...that would be awesome, I know its stealing from London (which Singapore & China are now copying) but it would look great along the torrens. Ferris wheel + Shops restaraunts etc. Ahhhh yes south bank here we come...

They were doing test rides in the one gondola yesterday. It looks like a christmas bauble.
