Definitely needs the western tower - a bit like the parliament houses need the original dome. (You can see the plans inside).

ADELAIDE - TOWARDS A GREATER CITY SKYLINE

Yeah, it doesn't look too good there.

Although, I've now seen it in person and it does look a lot better than in photos.

I am incredibly annoyed that the ground floor wasn't leased out to a coffee shop or what have you.

What exactly is on the ground floor? It wasn't clear on the floor-plans and fly-through what was going to happen there, but it seemed to me that it was just going to be a lobby for the offices.

Conference facilities, I believe. Meeting rooms and so on.

Why they had to be on the ground floor I have no idea. Surely a retail tenant would have provided more income.

theres a yummy bean bar cafe about 3 mtrs to the left :D

I dont mind this one. Up close its not that great, but from a distance it looks pretty cool due to the distinct colour

I love this one; it's so flush with this Emerald Green,it's almost magical - like in Oz, the Wizard of Oz, that is!

Wait until the inconsiderate little snots who work there start fiddling with their blinds and make a royal mess of the windows, à la CC1.

totally agree, those blinds make these buildings (this and CC1) look like an apartment block in Europe where people have their washed bed sheets hanging out on the balconies to dry .. very tasteless

Don't worry it will grow on most people eventually, especially when the adjacent tower gets built it will look more complete, also once there is a bit more activity about the place character may develope.
It also contributes to Hindmarsh square's vibrancy.
So over all i think its a job well done.

There's an even worse example than CC1 of blinds being used as a modern art side-project.......and it's actually right next door to this one. KPMG!

I swear these guys exist in some kind of blind twilight zone. Not only does it often appear that they have every single one at a different height, they've somehow managed to master the 45 degree hang. Most impressively though, I have witnessed them conquer the almost mythical 180 degree twist!

Hey all drove past Aurora tonight and the roof was lit up in blue neons. Think Rialto in Melbourne (but obviously much smaller). A nice unexpected edition.
