Wikki

I have been thinking that its often hard to find all the information about a particular project.
Sometimes there can be pages of discussion with little information relating to the actual facts or specifications towards a project.

My suggestion would be that if there is a new project it could be listed in a Wikki. This wikki then links to a discussion thread about the project. It would allow for quick access to viewing the latest information about a project including heights, renders etc.

I think this would also make it a valuable resource to people outside the Sensational Adelaide community. People don't want to trawl through forums, they want quick access.

What's peoples thoughts?

Most of the Wikis I have been involved with have failed, but we could give it a 1 month trial on the site.

Yeah that page is kinda along the lines of what I am thinking but with a lot more detail.
Maybe it would help if I did a mockup of my idea?

The ideal solution would be to have it intergrated with PHPBB.

Got an example? It has to tie in with phpbb code - as we also use this system on skyscraper city forums.

No example at the moment. I'll have a look at getting a mod together as an example to see what everyone thinks.
Probably wont be for a wile though. Got a number of projects I should really be doing but procrastination is fun atm :P

There's Wiki, then theres country specific Wiki's. What about an Adelaide/SA Wiki?
