that's quite a stretch
“The evidence overwhelmingly points to the fact that this sprawl increases respiratory disease [and] chronic disease such as obesity and diabetes.

correlation does not equal causation

+Adelaide doesn't have any urban areas, it has a town, inner suburbs and outer suburbs

the ethnic demographic is different... in town for example a large percentage of the population is Asian and young. They have a different diet to the outer suburban anglos.

That is incorrect.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) defines several urban environments:

Urban localities are centres with populations of more than 200 people.
Urban areas have populations of more than 1,000 people.
Significant urban areas have populations of 10,000 people.
Major urban areas (cities) have populations of more than 100,000 people.

Not sure if anyone on here thinks that you know more than a Dr in landscape architecture. I certainly don't.

Maybe it would help if you start to consider the knowledge of your peers instead of discounting without evidence.

so you're appealing to authority without questioning the motivation or validity of the information coming from that authority...
