Funnily enough all of the signage has been removed. I assume it was put up without approval. Faith restored.

The arcade and food court parts could do with a strip and refit. And while they are at that, install airlock doors and eradicate the pigeon population. Those buggers have no fear and are becoming quite aggressive. I've seen two (admittedly timid) people who surrender their lunch to pigeon muggers because they wont back off. Not to mention all the poop.

I wonder, does this mean that they're just replacing the toilets or a refit of the common areas?

Unfortunately the Moron who designed the Citi Centre Arcade, literally dropped the office building smack bang in the centre of the arcade rather than on-top (like they did with the Rundle Place), so unfortunately the weird configuration will always be a problem unless they complete gut the arcade and start again (which equals a lot of $$$$$).

I'd like to see them consolidate the corner tenancies and make them double height as a potential site for a business like H&M or Uniqlo. No idea if that's workable with the building's internals, but the Mall needs another anchor retailer at the Pultney Street end and this would be a statement site.

I actually think that this site would be perfect for a brand like H&M. They seem to like multi story heritage building here in Australia and Europe. And lets face it, north terrace needs all the help it can get.

Adelaide central plaza have given up on attracting high quality tenants by the looks. Events closed on the weekend on level 1 and is being replaced by "Tu nail salon".

eQuip at Rundle Mall Plaza has closed within just a week as it was only small. (Well, that escalated very quickly!)

Fig Jam Bakery at City Cross only lasted for almost a year and has been distrained. Yet another attempt to revitalize the former Billy Baxter's has failed.
Moving Subway to where this was could be a much better idea!

Same for those at Tea Tree Plaza and Marion.

EB Games at City Cross could possibly move into the Myer Centre and include a Zing section.

Topshop / Topman opens today.
Topshop, British fashion brand, opens stand-alone boutiques in Myer’s Rundle Mall store
February 10, 2016 7:47pm
ABBY MOULTONThe Advertiser

FASHION addicts will be able to get their fix of red-hot British brand Topshop in Myer from Thursday.

Famous for collaborations with supermodel Kate Moss and designer Christopher Kane, Topshop and brother brand Topman will be concessions, which are like stand-alone boutiques, in the retailer’s Rundle Mall store.

Worn by celebrities including Kate Moss, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, the Topshop concession will include a petite range for women 160cm and under.

Stock direct from London will be delivered on a weekly basis, with the first shipment including autumn winter’s quirky designs worn by Olivija and Bec from Pride Models.

The print dress and pleated skirt are in one of the season’s hottest colours, red, which featured on the catwalk at Fendi and Versace.

Available in South Australia for the first time, Topshop and Topman are being rolled out in 20 Myer stores across the country.

“Topshop Topman is globally recognised as a style-setter ... As part of our new Myer strategy we are bringing more wanted brands to our store” Myer’s Daniel Bracken said.

Well, no. Concessions are not like stand-alone boutiques, because they are not standing alone. :? That's against the whole definition of a concession. It's more like a store within a store.
