There seems to be some continued minor early works. Mobile crane on site today.

Also, imagine failing so hard at the planning of this project that a rail station isn't even considered as part of it.

Agreed. Both a tram stop near the main entrance and a railway station to the immediate north of the Port Road bridge would ensure that the entirety of ‘BioMed City’ is easily accessible from all directions.

Adding a train station in that location might be a small challenge, but while both sides of the corridor are vacant and could accomodate widening, it would certainly futureproof this precinct.

A train station there would also be amazing useful for events in Bonython Park.

Relocate Mile End station to the hospital location.

The police horses have been relocated and site clearance has started. I think the cycle safety centre closes in a couple of weeks:

Probably not, planning approval is just a formality at this point. I'm pretty sure legislation has passed parliament that allows this building to be constructed without hinderance.
