I am assuming work is set to start on this soon? Or never if we are going by GHS predictions? He hasn't put it on his Valley of Death chart.
Still makes me giggle!
I would say that construction would start on this in early 2017.
So we're still looking at a valley in terms of the crane count in the 2nd half of this year.

You seem to continually have these "predictions" about when things will start that you seem to just pull out of your ass.
What evidence do you have that suggest this will start in Early 2017? As well as all of your other ludicrous statements, like August Towers?

That's a bit harsh.
We should see site works this year at this site, followed by construction next year. We would be
looking at 2 cranes I would imagine.

That didn't answer his question as to where you get your "information/predictions"?

I've heard that this might be going to Hansen Yunken, based on they did 50 Flinders St for Commercial & General and this is another of their developments...

Definitely hasn't gone to Hansen Yuncken. Haven't heard who has actually got it but mgb is probably correct.

The carpark is now closed and there are tradies on site. I would think demolition will happen soon.

From The Sunday Mail
Work to start on $300 million new Calvary city hospital to replace Wakefield
WORK will start soon on the state’s largest private hospital, the $300 million Calvary Adelaide, after the signing of a development contract.
More than 500 jobs are expected to be created during the two-year construction of the 12-storey, 350-bed hospital in Angas St, next to SA Police headquarters.
Calvary’s North Adelaide and Central Districts hospitals will not be affected by the new facility.
Calvary signed the contract with Adelaide developer Commercial & General and construction company John Holland.
The new hospital will replace Calvary Wakefield Hospital, including its privately operated 24-hour emergency department.
Calvary chairman John Watkins said it was the group’s biggest hospital investment anywhere in Australia.
Due to open in December 2018, the hospital will increase inpatient beds to 257, compared with Wakefield’s 172, and have a 220-space carpark. Commercial & General is planning a 350-space carpark opposite.

A $300 million project, very impressive. A good supply of private investment happening in the CBD right now.

This will dwarf the police HQ building which itself is a pretty big building.
Even better this frees up the Wakefield/Hutt St corner site for future development...

Also nice to see the design further developed from the last set of renders. Won't win any awards but will make a huge impact in that area.

Yep. Big site too. Basically a demolish and build anew site. Can't imagine the existing building being re-tasked.
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
