As part of the Flinders Line construction the spaces beneath the train line have painted with murals.

I wonder how long they will survive without being sprayed over by the taggers.
If these murals end up becoming regularly tagged, it could be an interesting opportunity that every couple of years the artwork is removed and something new is commissioned, either by the existing artists or by different artists.

I am guessing they first would be using anti-graffiti paint/coating for the murals?

The Brighton station building murals seem to have survived without enhancement for a couple of years.

Some of these look good by themselves, but I think a bit disjoint together. Would've been nice if they had gone with a more unified theme for them.

Section 3.1 may explain

Also.3.2 confirms anti~graffiti coating to be used

I agree but they are also a distraction.

Cheers

Had a look at the station on Sunday.

Super smooth and some great views towards Brighton.

Here is a quick video from the trip.

I tried out Flinders station today - nice station. Will look even better when the greenery grows.
