Given the deterioration of the Rundle Lantern a fix up and replace of it would be nice, but doesn't seem to be a good idea at the moment considering that carpark is nearing the end of its life.

I've been living in Jakarta, back and forth to Adelaide, the past year and 3d billboards are literally everywhere there. Theyre not a huge project but I guess in the Australian context, they're a big deal.
The lantern was always a half baked idea and cheaply made.

We had an excuse for being so backward back in the 1980s.... we had no internet and were largely cut off from the rest of the world by virtue of being at the arse end of it. Also a lack of international flights.

I'm not sure what the excuse is now.

We don't need any billboards, they're tacky.
