Agreed - but the development IS happening - that was my point. Also Add Yorke CC, Bank St Apartments and Harris Scarf block.

These apartments are all but sold out too. I have a friend at work who is wanting one and it appears she may have missed out.

She did say that the agent said it was the first of "dozens" of affordable apartment towers coming up though, with the majority of them having government involvement.

having a number of single bed apartment blocks in going to be interesting more so what they will be in 10 years.

I've heard of another 2 single bed apartments going up around the place as well (only 4 or 5 levels however)

Seeing the cut off for press ads in the Saturday Advertiser is Wednesday, there is a fair chance that the apartments could have sold out prior. I looked at the availability list today and all bar one apartment are either sold or on hold. Only a small amount were available for sale to the general public.

This one is still being advertised in the paper so there must be some apartments still available.

I've been researching this one a bit out of personal interest, I wanted to grab one of the two bedrooms under the affordable scheme myself, but they were gone in less than a week after it opened.

Attached is a file from just over a week ago showing the availability at the time, I'd say availability would be significantly less now. I know a fair bit about this project from trying to get one myself, so any other questions I may be able to answer :)

This would be amazing! We need some more brand name stores like this to bring more people into the city.

Already got enough of them. Definitely in need of some high end retailers though. With 2 Apple stores each in NSW, Vic and QLD we need to get a move on and keep up with the Eastern states!! Every good city should have an Apple store (plus they look awesome). Maybe this conversation should move to the city retail thread :P

Na, its a Next Byte. They sell Apple products but arent actually Apple. They are just a reseller.
