A couple of windows have been fitted on level 4 of the centre tower on the O' Connell St side.

Yes it has only taken since 1985 when le Cornues closed

Some pictures of installing new side window panels with brick patterns on north side of tower 1 ( furthest from city). these panels are temporary hung using a compact portable crane on the floor above.

the only reason you can see 88 O'Connell Street from there so prominently is because of the elevation of the geography

The elevation data in Google Earth is interesting. The photo vantage point at the Airport viewpoint is at ~3 m elevation. The main runway is 3 m at west end and 6 m east end. O'Connell St is at 48 m, North Tce/KW St is at 42m and Victoria Sq is 45 m. KWm at Adelaide Oval is 27 m.
