[COM] Re: #PRO: Rundle Place | 93m | 19lvls | Office & Retail

this is going to add more height and define the skyline more, which is what we need! and since there are 3 other developments very close in hind-marsh, the end result is going to look brilliant!

[COM] Re: #U/C: North Terrace | Streetscape Upgrade Stage 2

They filled it in, lol this is shocking!

the new lights and streetscape look awesome but it needs to be completed throughout the whole of North Terrace, especially near the botanic gardens and royal adelaide hospital past frome road.

Re: #Proposed : Port Adelaide Tram Line

Taking a guess we would presume to see some actual documentation, plans and renders for the tram line extension to the entertainment center at least in a few months before early 2009 construction commences?

[COM] Re: #U/C : Rundle Convergence

This is going to look fantastic at night, and even catch attention during the day. I think this is going to change the east end of Adelaide, and hopefully the success of this will further create more proposals for different street ambiance art throughout our streets. I don't think we should be compl...

Re: General CBD Development

on another note i was just surfing the adelaide city council site and found this Released: 16 Jun 2008 [12.00am] The first stage of a major project to underground power lines along West Terrace could begin soon, following a $500,000 funding commitment by the Adelaide City Council. At its meeting ton...

Re: Traffic Cameras

I would like to see us adapt a speed limit system like this Walking pace (shared vehicle, pedestrian zone) 40 = built up areas, road works, school zones and accident scenes 60 and 80 = major arterial roads 100 = rural roads, city expressways 120 = Freeways all these speeds are clearly marked on you...

[COM] Re: #Completed : Adelaide Airport

Well it is a great system when you think about it. Could be a lot worse. In Singapore Airport, the majority of shops are beyond the customs point, but there is still plenty of food outlets outside where family can join you before you go through to the gate. I love for domestic flights in Adelaide yo...

Re: Traffic Cameras

I agree that this signage is 100% better than the standard SA ones. I say the speed limits need to be more standard across the state with less confusing speed changing, and clearly display signage of speed limits. Can get confusing when entering 60,50 and 40 zones in a small distance, without proper...

Re: Taxi protest causes peak hour like CBD congestion

they do nothing for the state but bring in money to be honest. I have seen so many cars just slam on breaks just before the signage... why place signage before the camera. Plus, they are the most ugly looking things that add no value or beauty to our streets.

Back on topic though..

Re: Taxi protest causes peak hour like CBD congestion

That would of not made a difference since if there was more than one car in the actual intersection.
