There was an article about the need for a Rundle Street upgrade splashed across the page of last week's City Messenger. Jist of it, needs better paths, better lighting (in awnings and such), better parking and more greenery. Don't know if the council has any plans though. They do want to have Time-S...

Wouldn't the fact that there are already empty shops be a reason not to build more? But yes, I can see the reason why you would want retail at least on the ground floor street frontage.

its shows great height for the area, but how come noones complaing of overshadoewing onto the nearby Nth terrace tourist hotpsots (library, art gallery) seems unusual considering how many nimbys there are in adelaide. This is the Southern Hemisphere, the sun is in the north, therefore the shadows a...

I think it's fantastic what they've done around the O-Bahn. For 15 years, we've wanted a direct bus to Tea Tree Plaza, and the new 546 is exactly what I've always wanted, complete with a 15 minute go zone. But they damn well wait for me to move out of home before they put it in! Blah! I would like t...

I love the new City Cross. Every other day I used to walk though that place, right from before the plan, though to the demolition, the phase where it was a series of dimly lit pressboard and scaffolding tunnels, right though to the bustling lunch time destination for office workers. Fantastic stuff....

Rather bland in my opinion (can we expect anything else from Holdfast Council?). I really don't like the look of the renders in that pdf. The pavers look almost like bare concrete! Needs more colour, especially green. Not much of an improvment to what's already there IMO. I wonder why they decided t...
