By the looks of things, that northbound ramp on to the expressway from Pt Wakefield road might be just temporary. According to the preferred route brochure for the Northern Connector (which admittedly is still in planning, so may change), there will be no northbound access to the Northern Expressway...

Went over Angle Vale Rd overpass on the long weekend, all the lines are marked on the expressway at that point, looked all ready for driving on (with the exception of the "Danger - No Entry - Contruction Site" signs at the roundabouts). It certainly looks well ahead of schedule!

I don't suppose anyone has seen or heard any progress on this one?

I'm probably not going to be able to get to Mt Gambier again until the end of this year, but hoping to still get a chance to go for a wander through the existing structure (photo and video opportunity )
