Any news on this development anyone? It is getting close to a year since it was approved. Maybe Caversham were hoping SA Water might have gone with this tower but they didn't and now are letting the proposal lapse for something else maybe? Or maybe construction is not far around the corner? Bit diss...

Wow! Excellent pics once again Pants. This is a high quality almost end product. Very impressed with the glass and overall finish. This one fits in very nicely with its surrounds.

Excellent pics Pants. Love the look of the glass, especially in the 1st pic. This thing is getting huge now. It really is having a big impact from Victoria Square as we all thought it would. Good bye Santos, well at least most of it from that perspective. Last shot with the huge corebox and cranes u...

I can't believe it is nearly a quarter of a year since the terminal was meant to be fully opened and it still is NOT! It is very embarrassing. The longer it goes on the worse it gets. This is having a big impact on our State's reputation and no doubt it is starting to dent the good level of business...

Howie that's great. Glad I and others have managed to persuade you to take a look at it. Hopefully you find it to be a good read. If ya don't well at least you took a look at it :D

Much movement Pants? I noticed some swinging actions but wasn't sure if they were back into full construction or just partial works? Bit lazy at the moment and can't be stuffed with pic taking until some decent activity starts again.

I also believe that George Orwell's '1984' is a must read book. Everyone should be made to read it :D Then you will know the true meaning of Big Brother not the bloody show that got its name and theme from this book. Algernon I have not read those books that you have recommended but I have heard of ...

Hehehe Algernon, yes I did go book crazy :D As I said at the moment I'm reading Dostoevsky's 'Crime and Punishment' which is a very intense read of 462 pages of very small writing so I'll be at it for a while in and out of everything else. I have a few others lined up. Another of his called 'The Hou...

It is amazing just how close to reality George Orwell was with his book '1984'. So many of his ideas have occurred now, some have not thankfully but probably will. Sorry a big '1984' fan here. That bloke was amazing even though he had a few issues in the metal health department but don't we all? Hav...

Excellent changes by the looks and long overdue. There has been a bit of a lull in recent fresh proposals. Most have been re-hashed ones, comming back into light eg Balfours site and so on. So I am guessing it has been due to developers holding off for this. Apart from the height increases the plot ...

Agreed. As someone pointed out on that thread it is probabaly a 14.1m, 3.9 floor proposal. It would have taken all of one minute for the person who started the thread to provide a link even if they were in a rush. Very suspect.

Adelaide City Council did not want the glass overhangs on Santos due to public space issues etc so that's why they have been taken out apart from a compromise one at the front of the building. What is with the verticle line features on the first 4 floors above ground level? Not sure I like that addi...

Sounds interesting Howie. Definately an excellent area for developments there, especially apartments with the Central Market. This side of the city is definately going to be the heart of developments over the next decade or so.
