Yeah I thought that was few years back AtD. I was under the impression that the government debts had all but gone now?

I think the new South Road tunnels proposed by the Government are a good enough start. It is a step in the right direction as is the Port River Expressway. Steps backwards such as the City West Connector, (only two lanes and no overpasses, stupid!) and the Southern Expressway, bloody embarrassment, ...

Yes Chris it is the same render just not zoomed in so much. Gives a better perspective of it with the EDS building and Hyatt. Worried about what actual texture that pink/red/orange colour is going to be. Not bricks I hope!

Good on em. It would be great if there was a backdown on this one and it got back up to 105m just for the principle of it alone. I read yesterday how the State Government has a $5million bond thing with Caversham. As each development on the block is completed Caversham gets a bit of the bond back :D...

I can't wait to see some glass get added. Glass almost always looks different to the render version on these buildings. Looking forward to seeing the quality/finish they have chosen.

Yeah saw that too Pikey, wrote about it in SSC but ya beat me to it here :D Not sure on the quality of the building a bit 'prison-like' but should be interesting to see some more bulk in that part of the city.

Yeah I have seen this one in the commercial real estate sections of the paper of late. It is a good improvement. I think someone mentioned it a while back too. With Adelaide's much higher level of older/out-dated commercial buildings compared to other capitals we should expect more re-furbs in the f...

This one should maybe go to under construction now as demolition works are well underway with heaps of workers on-site. Drove past doay and signifcant traffic restrictions were also occurring around the building.

That City West Connector is a step in the right direction. However it has major problems. I hate they way the governments of the present day build two lane roads for major connectors and then wait years and upgarde it to 4 lanes. It needs to be 4 lanes from the start to attract the cars onto it. Als...

Yeah, West Terrace is the worst of the major Terraces. This is a good proposal and would be a great replacement for the ugly aqua green coloured building on the site now. This area of the city has always had problems. One day it will boom but I reckon that is a far way off yet.

Taken today. Not much change for Santos, mostly core work. IAG office has window clips installed on 2nd floor, (above ground and 1st floor), so glass shouldn't be too far off on this one. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d22/UrbanSG/Nov20-2.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d22/UrbanSG/Nov20-3....

Thanks Pants. I didn't see those render boards, so look forward to seeing them. Also noticed they seem to be repaving the footpath from the corner of Bentham/Waymouth towards new Advertiser building as they made a mess of that during construction :D I noticed there seemed to be a group of trucks loa...

Here are some quick pics from today. The Northern crane was being lifted and part of Waymouth blocked of to traffic. You can just see the construction blokes in the collar of the crane. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d22/UrbanSG/Nov6-1.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d22/UrbanSG/Nov6-2.jpg ...
