Re: Commonwealth Games in Adelaide
It would never happen, but a multi sport games event where only the Australian states, territories and New Zealand compete against each other would be cool.

Bored tunnels clearly result in the least disruption to the surface above them. I'm disappointed that once it's all finished, the trip to the airport from the north will use less of the motorway than we do now, as we will have to use the exit before Port Road. Im sure there are plans for an airport...

The rail component of the Northern Connector was to move rail freight out of the suburbs, it had nothing to do with passenger trains.
If you want to run passenger services to the growing areas of Virginia, Two Wells and Riverlea the rail corridor is already there with room to expand

Luke Combs sold out in less than a day, there is demand for international acts here, I don't understand why more don't come.

Re: Beer Garden
I would just like to see the transport department cover the cost of retrieving trucks from arrester beds. It could be incorporated into heavy vehicle registration costs. Drivers currently would be hesitant to use them as they could face termination/unfair treatment from their employers due to the la...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
How much test running of trains is required on the gawler line?
I live near the line and hear a train go by atleast once an hour from first thing in the morning to late into the evening every day.
Just seems strange to me.

You can find the ideas in here: https://dpti.sa.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0010/625951/GlobeLink_Scoping_Study_Report_Business_Case.pdf It's known as 'Short North'. Many members of this forum believe in a tunnel under Cross Road, directly connecting the South-Eastern Freeway to the North-South M...

Southbound on R2P was open this morning. what's the speed limit on the overpass? I'm assuming it would be low while work is still underway. I live south so I almost rely on this forum to see what's happening out that way. 40 kmh and only two lanes are open. Just looking at a post on the SA infrastr...
